Disclosure:  I received my free copy of My Very First Easter Story Sticker Book from Kregel Publications to provide an honest review.  I did not and will not receive further compensation for the review.  Thoughts and opinions presented are my own.  I was not obligated to provide a positive review, but I really enjoyed this book!

With Easter right around the corner I definitely said yes to reviewing this fun children's book.  This is a very colorful retelling of the first Easter.  The book easily captured my son's attention with it's simple but beautiful illustrations.  The story is the top half of the pages of the book.  Throughout the story there are pictures missing which your child fills in with stickers.  There are also activities on the bottom half of  each page which  also need stickers attached.  My son had no problem finding the correct stickers because there is a colored outline to match up with the needed sticker.  An added plus is the fact that the activities on the bottom encourage discussions on colors, counting, time, prayers, love, helping, and nature.  This was a great way to share the story and the importance of the resurrection story!  We celebrate Resurrection day each year with the "resurrection" emphasis rather than the "Easter" with eggs and bunnies.  This was a fun way to talk about the story this year.  I think we''ll be saving the book to read the story again later.

Now I'd really like to check out Lois's other books too:  My Very First Noah and the Ark Sticker Book, My Very First Jonah and the Whale Sticker Book, and My Very First Christmas Story Sticker Book.  These are great to share with your kids, and I would definitely use them as gifts.  If you're still trying to figure out how to share the resurrection story with your kids or need something to stick in a basket you might want to look for this book.  Blessings!
