Here's another little book we've been checking out lately.  This colorfully illustrated book contains more than 50 simple rhyming prayers to cover a child's day and worries.  Wake-up, mealtime, fear, and bedtime are all covered.  

Roma Downey's Little Angels, a faith-based series for preschoolers, contains stories about eight Little Angels who guard, teach and spend time with twins Alex and Zoe.  The stories contain lessons, biblical values and biblical truths.  There are also a number of related Bible verses throughout the book.  This is a fun little book to share with your youngest children to teach them about prayer and thanks to God.  The book is a durable padded board book and will stand up to almost anything so it's safe to take everywhere too!  

Although my youngest is no longer a preschooler it was a hit with him.  I really enjoyed the colorful and cute pictures throughout the book.  This would be a nice gift for a younger child any time of the year.  I like the ability to incorporate the prayers into everyday life with my child..
