I was recently provided with The Pre-Algebra Tutor: Volume 1 and The TI-83/TI-84 Calculator Tutor DVDs to review as a part of the The Old Schoolhouse Homeschool Product Review Crew. Upon viewing the DVDs I can honestly say the information provided is comprehensive and very understandable.
Both sets of DVDs introduce basic information with many visual examples to build student/user confidence and understanding. Information is provided in relatively short sections split by topics. The tutor has a pleasant voice and is very easy to listen to for extended periods of time. The explanations are provided at an easy pace, in layman's terms, with whiteboard examples in Pre-Algebra Tutor. In the TI 83/TI-84 DVDs there is a screenshot of the calculator as information is entered as well as a screenshot of what appears on the calculator screen. Both visual and auditory learners should benefit from these products.

We are planning to use the Pre-Algebra Tutor as we start our school year. I am really looking forward to seeing how much my daughter's understanding improves this year.
